LebenTv was recognized with an award at Training Day 2024

The Innovation of the Year award that LebenTV received at Training Day 2024 reflects the impact the platform has had on the region's technology and business ecosystem. Alexis Canahui, creator of Training Day, shared how the event began in 2013 with the mission of supporting entrepreneurs in Central America. “We saw a need to positively impact the entrepreneurial ecosystem, since at that time no one was talking about entrepreneurship. Training Day became a platform to recognize the quality of entrepreneurs,” Canahui explained.

Since then, Training Day has established itself as the most important technology event in Central America, attracting more than 3,500 attendees and renowned international speakers.

The selection process was rigorous, with over 350 companies participating. Ultimately, the Training Day team decided to award LebenTV. for its ability to disrupt an industry that, until now, had not seen major changes in the region. “LebenTV is solving a problem that affects many people and, in addition, has a scalable business model. That was key in our decision to give them this recognition,” Canahui comments.

The power of teamwork

The team behind LebenTV is aware that its success wouldn't have been possible without the collective effort of each of its members. "Any startup or company owes its success to a team," explains Ortiz. "This wouldn't be possible if we didn't have a team that has been analyzing every step from the very beginning, from development to implementation," adds the co-creator. Fernando Barrios, partner and head of engineering analysis, along with the entire team of engineers, has been a key player in the platform's development.

The importance of teamwork is a recurring theme in LebenTV's corporate culture. "If you have the best team, you can change an industry. That's what we started doing three years ago, and we're convinced we're on the right track," Ortiz concludes, alongside his team.

As LebenTV continues its expansion and development, it's clear that its offering has the potential to change how television content is consumed in the region. With an ambitious vision and a dedicated team, the platform is positioning itself as a leader in the entertainment and technology industry.
